Jean Olive Haslam teaches and practises natural health medicine in the Eastern Suburbs. Having established the College 7 years ago, Jean trains practitioners and other teachers at the college in natural health. She also uses her wealth of knowledge to practise iridology, herbal medicine, vibrational essences and reflexology.

Iridology - a science that shows a road map of your body and the conditions of your body by looking into the eyes.
Herbal medicine - organically grown and made with the life force essence still in them. Herbal medicine can be used for any conditions relating to health - emotional, physical, spiritual and environmental.
Vibrational essences
Reflexology - the relaxation and vibrational work on the feet which connects with all the meridians of the body and removes blockages. Through the releasing of blockages it reinforces the original patterning of the body in a corrective way.
Diet - changing food habits which initiate the longevity of the body.
Spiritual healing - hands on healing, meditation

Courses are run on regular basis on all aspects of alternative medicine and native ways.
Rainbow College of Alternative Medicine
Diploma of Naturopathy:
This part time course provides individual tutoring in small classes with hands on practical experience. It can be taken as a day or night course, one full day per week or two evenings per week.
Naturopathy is a way of treating patients with a wholistic approach to medicine and a wide range of modalities.
The subjects studied include:
Anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, psychology and sociology
Naturopathic principals
Nutritional sciences and biochemistry
Vibrational medicines
Herbal medicine and sciences
Iridology, Homeopathy, flower and crystal essences
Sympotomatology and diagnosis
Tactile therapies (massage, accupressure)
Experience & Qualifications

Jean has worked in the health area for more than ten years, beginning with a health food store and naturopathic centre in Box Hill. She has been teaching natural health courses for over ten years and conducts seminars and workshops in Australia and overseas.

Jean has also worked with aboriginal and North America cultures on ways of healing. Certificates and diplomas include: Certificate of Massage Therapies 1988. Certificate of Health and Nutrition - 1986
